The Institute needs an global identity and an image. To establish its identity, focusing on objectives and working out priorities become necessary. Given the strength of the existing infrastructure, stability of the Post-graduate programme and other supports, a plan of action for the next five years or so will help to look at the changing scenarios adequately and to take advantage of them. begin with activities and processes at the 

Institute will be concentrated on :
  • Assessment of the current three-years Programme.
  • Faculty Development and infrastructure expansion plan.
  • Plans for expansion of existing programme as well as other software development Programme, research and consultancy activities.
  • Resource raising plan : consultancy including Institutional services to Industry, Business and Development organisation.
  • A long-term plan or a perspective plan for the Institute.

To initiate the above, quality improvement of the Programme through Processes of consensus and sharing has been initiated. It has been considered that the Payoffs 
from such an exercise may be long-lasting and might build up greater faculty and other resources to plan other activities.
